In 2011, Forecsys carried out a project to make the forecasting of repeat sales at Baltika an automated process. The project was separated into two parts; during the first stage a pilot was carried out, the results of which showed a dramatic increase in accuracy when Forecsys algorithms were used. During the second stage, the Goods4Cast system was implanted in order to forecast repeat sales. Our clients for this project were the sales department and the department of logistics.

«SAFRAN 3.0», a system for analysis of the financial markets, was developed by Forecsys for Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange during maintenance of a SAFRAN system which had previously been installed. While providing support for the marketing department at the regional mobile phone operator NSS, JSC, Forecsys, together with Teradata, designed and implemented a complex solution which allows for multilateral management of processes for marketing campaigns.

In September 2005, Forecsys launched antiplagiat.ru for industry use. It was the first Russian Internet service to offer a range of services related to checking documents for plagiarism of public domain documents. Ever since it was released, Forecsys has always provided technical support to the system.

As part of Domodedovo’s quality development plans, they needed a tool which would allow them to check the efficient of their designers’ solutions and also to evaluate the airport’s handling capacity at each stage of the reconstruction. In order to solve these problems, Forecsys designed an imitation model for airplane movement in the airport’s transport network.

In 2005, the research group at Forecsys built a «map of similar Internet resources». The purpose of the map was to reveal users’ preferences. The principal objectives of the research were to demonstrate the technological possibilities for analysing customers and creating a prototype of a system for analysing Internet portal logs, search systems, and website traffic counters (Web Usage Mining, WUM).

As part of our support package for Perekrestok, Forecsys designed and implementedGoods4Cast, a consumer demand forecasting system. The system was designed to work out the ideal number of products to order to the shop. At the present time, we are carrying out maintenance work on the Goods4Cast system in order to provide an alternate method of connecting to the system so it can be used by ever Perekrestok store in Moscow and the Moscow region.

As part of our support package for RAO «UES Russia», Forecsys developed and implemented Forel Version 1.0®, an automatized system for decision making. The main purpose of Forel is to make short-term predictions on the spot prices of electric energy on the Nord Pool energy stock market in the Finland pricing zone.

As a result of our collaboration with MICEX, CC RAS and Forecsys created a stock exchange trading model named Imitrade, an imitation trading system designed to aid the study of electronic stock trading. It allows the user to acquire the necessary skills. It begins with the simplest of operations, the supply and withdrawal of applications, and ends by processing its own strategies and by evaluating the possible influences on trading.

As part of our support package for the Consumer Market Department and our services for the Moscow Government, Forecsys developed and implemented the Mostorgprognoz forecasting system for the economic situation of the Moscow trading markets. The system’s main objective was to give short to mid-term predictions for the volume of trade turnover on the consumer markets in relation to the assorted structures belonging to the circulation of commodities.

The SAFRAN systems for analysis of the financial markets was developed for the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange by MICEX specialists together with a group of academics who went on to form the basis of Forecsys. The system was designed to monitor the financial markets and is one of the main tools available for observing the MICEX financial markets.
